An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our supportive and dedicated Dermatology Team as a Band 5 Staff Nurse.
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated nurse to contribute to our growing Dermatology Service, which operates across 2 sites: Altrincham and Stockport.
This role includes the added responsibility of providing Registered Nurse (RN) cover for the Neurology Clinics held at the Altrincham site, making it ideal for a nurse eager to diversify their clinical skills.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the smooth running of the clinics / theatre sessions within the Dermatology Outpatients Department, including supervision and development of untrained staff and supporting patients, family, and carers.
Expectation to progress towards competencies for administering Phototherapy treatments.

This vacancy is open to those with a current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse in the UK, or those enrolled in a course expecting to receive their full NMC PIN within 2-3 months.
Please note: An NMC PRN PIN is not sufficient for this role. The NCA no longer accepts applications from international nurses who have not completed all competencies for a full NMC PIN due to paused OSCE assessments. For more info, visit the NMC website.
