gobecare is seeking an experienced Staff Nurse to join our Care Home team in Newmains/Wishaw. You will lead and support the care team, delivering person-centred nursing while upholding independence, privacy and dignity for residents.

You must be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN, with solid clinical knowledge and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. A collaborative, resident-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN.
• Experience in adult care settings is desirable.
• Strong communication and decision-making under pressure.

We are currently looking to appoint an experienced Staff Nurse to join our Care Home team in Newmains/ Wishaw. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified RGN/ RMN with an active PIN looking to make a difference on ever singe shift with our residents whilst play a key role in leading and supporting our care team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assess residents’ needs and turn them into clear, tailored care plans
• Review and update care plans as residents’ needs change
• Administer medication and treatments in line with professional guidance
• Keep clinical records accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready
• Monitor health and act quickly when something needs attention
• Support residents and reassure families with warmth and professionalism
• Work closely with the wider team to keep care consistent and well-coordinated
• Keep improving through training, learning, and professional development

What we’re looking for:

• You’re a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin
• You bring solid clinical knowledge and can make sound decisions under pressure
• You communicate clearly and respectfully (with residents, families, and colleagues)
• You’re approachable, resident-focused, and genuinely care about getting it right
• You can work well on your own and just as well as part of a team
• Previous care home experience is desirable, but your attitude and ability matter most
