Holmes Care Group LTD in Scotland is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join our growing team. You will provide high-quality nursing care, support residents and families, and uphold the highest standards of clinical practice.

With current NMC registration and a compassionate, caring approach, you will manage medicine administration, contribute to care plans, mentor junior colleagues, and collaborate with the Service Manager to maintain a safe, compliant and welcoming home environment.

Competenze

• Current registration with the NMC.
• Relevant Nursing qualification.

Mansioni

• Provide excellent nursing care and support to residents.
• Oversee medicine management and safe administration of medications per NMC standards.
• Create and carry out treatment plans.
• Offer a safe, caring and stable environment to residents.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines.
• Support the Service Manager with high nursing standards and supervise staff and shifts.
• Mentor other team members.
• Collaborate with Manager to ensure smooth running of the home.

What does the day of a Staff Nurse look like?

• Providing excellent nursing care and support to our residents
• Overseeing all aspects of medicine management and ensuring the safe administration of medication in accordance with NMC Standards
• Creating and carrying out treatment plans
• Offering a safe, caring and stable environment to the people we support
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
• Support the Service Manager with key targets by promoting and practicing high standards of nursing care and ensuring staff and shifts are supervised in a smooth manner
• Support, guide, teach and mentor other members of your team
• Working individually and in partnership with the Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home

To be considered for this role, you will need to hold a current registration with the NMC and have a relevant Nursing qualification. With a compassionate and caring attitude, you will have adequate knowledge, experience and a clear understanding of the nursing role and its professional boundaries.
