Job summary

Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 5 staff nurse for Cedar Ward at St Peter’s Hospital in Chertsey, Surrey. The post welcomes new graduates and student nurses with NHS placements.

You will work within a supportive MDT, with a full preceptorship and induction program and ongoing professional development. You will be supported in delivering holistic and compassionate care across medical wards, including rehabilitation, recovery after surgery or acute

Responsibilities

• To work effectively and efficiently within the framework of team nursing and individualised patient care in collaboration with the department’s integrated multidisciplinary team to develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care for patients.
• To supervise junior registered and non-registered staff.
• To contribute to creating a supportive environment for patients during rehabilitation, recovery after surgery or acute illness, and end-of-life care.

We are currently recruiting for a Band 5 staff nurse for Cedar Ward based at St Peter’s Hospital located in Chertsey, Surrey. Cedar ward is one of our medical wards and specialises in gastric medicine.

We welcome applications from new graduates and student nurses qualifying in the next few months that have undertaken placements in an NHS setting.
