Staff Nurses required for Medical SDEC at Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester.
SDEC is an ambulatory unit, accepting direct referrals from Emergency Department and GP, with the aim to see, treat and discharge patients within 12h avoiding medical admission and increasing the patient flow through the Hospital. You will be responsible for the care alongside the ACP team of all patients through the Unit. This will include basic patient's observations, administering IV medications/infusions and helping to organise patient workload through a busy unit, and linking directly with the ACP team and Medical team. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in a different evolving environment.
Full/ part-time / Flexible hours available, 7 days a week.
