An exciting opportunity has arisen within our state-of-the-art Urology Centre for a permanent Band 5 Staff Nurse position. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a challenging environment. You will provide excellent, evidence-based care for all our service users, whether attending for Brachytherapy, general urology procedures in our theatre, flexible cystoscopy, prostate biopsy in treatment suites, or outpatient appointments in consultation rooms. Previous experience in urology is advantageous, but opportunities for personal and professional development are available.
To act as a lead and mentor for staff, supporting their development. To run clinics, assist with urological procedures and treatments, and ensure a productive outpatient environment.
The role involves managing quality and clinical care, advocating for the patient experience, managing resources effectively, and deploying junior staff appropriately.
