Job summary

Graphcore is seeking a QA-focused software engineer to build scalable test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines for the ML software stack, spanning frameworks to hardware. You will create representative ML workloads, analyze results, and translate findings into tooling and testing improvements.

You will work across software teams to strengthen quality and maintainability while mentoring junior engineers. You’ll shape software architecture and developer experience, with opportunities to influence

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills with production-quality software experience.
• Software design and architecture skills for large, complex codebases.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automated testing systems in Linux environments.
• Familiarity with C or C++, including reading, debugging and reasoning about low-level code.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and influence engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines for ML software across simulators, emulators and hardware.
• Create representative ML workloads and analyze execution to improve testing and tooling.
• Develop production-quality tests and analytics that demonstrate numerical accuracy and performance.
• Collaborate with software teams, review code/designs, and raise standards for quality, security and maintainability.
