Job summary

Graphcore is seeking a Software QA Engineer to build production-grade test infrastructure for the ML stack, spanning frameworks to AI accelerator hardware. You will architect scalable test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines that run across simulators, emulators and physical hardware, crafting representative ML workloads and turning results into tooling improvements.

This role offers scope to shape software architecture and developer experience while mentoring junior engineers and driving testing

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills with production-quality software experience.
• Experience designing software architecture for large codebases with testability in mind.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automated testing systems in Linux environments.
• Familiarity with C or C++, including reading and debugging low-level code.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and influence engineering practices.
• Self-directed, able to identify gaps and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Design production-quality test infrastructure for Graphcore’s ML software stack.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that run across simulators, emulators and hardware.
• Create representative ML workloads, analyze their execution and drive improvements to testing and tooling.
• Shape software architecture and developer experience beyond adding tests.
