Qualifications

• Strong Python skills shown by production-quality software.
• Software design and architecture for large codebases with a focus on testability and maintainability.

• Familiarity with C or C++ to read, debug and reason about low-level code.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and influence engineering practices.
• Self-directed approach to solving complex problems and driving improvements.

Responsibilities

• Design production-quality test infrastructure for Graphcore’s ML stack.
• Architect scalable test frameworks and build CI/CD pipelines across simulators, emulators and hardware.
• Create representative ML workloads, analyze their execution and translate results into testing improvements.
• Shape software architecture and developer experience beyond merely adding tests.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code/design reviews to raise standards.
