Job summary

Arm Limited in Cambridge seeks a Staff/Principal Software Engineer to lead post-silicon firmware releases and defect management for our infrastructure platforms. You will coordinate across engineering groups to ensure delivery across multiple platform configurations and sites, shaping production-ready firmware.

The role requires strong firmware or low-level system software experience, ownership of release quality, and excellent collaboration across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in firmware or low-level system software for production-quality code.
• Experience leading software releases, defect management or system integration across multiple engineering teams within SoC domain.
• Good understanding of post-silicon firmware development, including software integration, validation, release processes and hardware development/debug environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-silicon firmware releases for Arm's datacenter SoC software project, covering release planning, readiness, quality and delivery across engineering teams and platform configurations.
• Own defect management across firmware releases, establishing triage and prioritisation and providing visibility of blockers and risks.
• Coordinate CE-SW requirements for post-silicon development environments, translating plans into development boards, system configurations and lab capacity.
• Collaborate across Arm locations and engineering teams to align priorities and dependencies, resolve issues and improve firmware delivery.
