Job summary

Dex is seeking a staff-level full-stack engineer to lead a team of five engineers building the customer-facing web stack. You will own the architecture for the analytics dashboard, docs platform, marketing site, sign-up flow, and billing UI, while guiding DevEx and embedding AI tooling for faster delivery.

You will report to the CTO and shape engineering culture, focusing on developer experience, API quality, and scalable systems that serve millions of users.

Qualifications

• Senior full-stack expertise with strong React/TypeScript and backend in Rails or Node.js.
• Proven experience leading a small engineering team and shaping DevEx strategy.
• Track record of embedding AI/LLMs into development pipelines to boost velocity.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of five full-stack engineers with hands-on technical leadership.
• Own end-to-end architecture for all customer-facing web apps (dashboard, docs, marketing, sign-up, billing).
• Drive adoption of AI tools/LLMs to multiply team productivity.
• Set engineering excellence standards across reviews, tests, and incident response.
• Collaborate with SDK and realtime infra teams to ensure cohesive developer experience.
