Job summary

Dex is seeking its first dedicated engineering lead to build an internal AI platform end-to-end. You’ll own architecture, product direction, and work directly with partners to create ML capabilities that give them a competitive edge.

This founding, high-ownership role requires shipping from zero to production with significant autonomy in an early-stage setting. You’ll shape how the firm identifies the next generation of founders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software eng with Python for backend and AI workflows.
• Experience integrating APIs and working with LLMs.
• Proven autonomy to ship from zero to production.
• Strong backend design and data architecture skills.
• Security and compliance for internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Integrate disparate internal tools and external APIs into a unified AI platform.
• Automate data ingestion and CRM updates from unstructured text.
• Develop meeting intelligence workflows from transcripts.
• Define architecture and roadmap from concept to production.
• Build and deploy predictive ML models using proprietary data.
