Job summary
Tesco PLC is seeking a Staff Analytics Engineer for Cyber Analytics to set the technical direction of cybersecurity data products and analytics platforms. You will drive architecture, modelling standards and DataOps practices while mentoring engineers and partnering across security, platform and engineering teams.
You will shape data governance, deliver scalable data solutions, and enable AI-powered analytics with responsible governance and security controls.
Qualifications
- Proven experience building enterprise-scale data products and leading analytics engineering teams.
- Strong programming and SQL skills for large-scale transformation and analytics workloads.
- Experience with cloud data lakehouse architectures (Databricks on Azure) and data quality controls.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive technical direction for cybersecurity data products and analytics platforms.
- Lead design and evolution of analytics architecture supporting reporting, ML, and AI-powered analytics.
- Champion data governance, security, and responsible AI practices across teams.
- Mentor Analytics Engineers and reinforce engineering standards, reviews and testing.
