Job summary

Eye Security is seeking a Staff AI Security Engineer to champion AI security as a discipline, independently explore opportunities, build working prototypes, and help turn successful experiments into production capabilities. Initial focus areas include Agentic SOC, AI-driven vulnerability hunting and the security of our own AI systems.

In this role you will work closely with the R&I team, collaborate with SecOps analysts, and help define practical engineering controls while publishing research

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC, IR, threat detection, vulnerability research, or security engineering.
• Staff-level technical judgment and ability to independently pursue research.
• Demonstrable hands-on interest in AI with projects or professional work.
• Working proficiency in English; Dutch or German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Expand Agentic SOC capabilities with SecOps analysts.
• Develop scalable agentic workflows to identify vulnerabilities.
• Translate prototypes into customer-facing tools.
• Secure Eye’s AI systems, assess risks and add controls.
• Collaborate with team leads and cross-functional colleagues.
• Work with internal teams to deploy findings.
• Publish technical research on Eye Research blog.
• Track AI threat landscape and translate guidance into actions.
