Job summary

AstraZeneca GmbH seeks an experienced technical leader to secure and scale an enterprise Agentic AI ecosystem, spanning security operations, agent engineering, and AI platform security. You will own the AI security control plane, harden agentic systems and build production-grade automations that evolve with platforms, models and attack techniques.

You will drive secure patterns, threat modeling, and incident response while coordinating across SOC, cloud, identity and data security teams,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Proven hands-on cybersecurity engineering and security operations experience.
• Proficiency in building production-grade automation using Python.
• Experience with agent architectures, LLMs, tool calling and security risks.
• Hands-on security telemetry using SIEM/SOAR and cloud security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Define and improve controls for agent security across lifecycle.
• Create secure patterns, guardrails and policy-as-code.
• Assess architectures, threat models and release gates for secure onboarding.
• Own secure lifecycle from discovery to retirement and inventory controls.
• Govern multi-agent workflows and secure integrations with enterprise platforms.
• Build AI security observability through telemetry and dashboards.
• Design detections for AI-specific threats and automate responses.
• Lead AI for Cyber and Cyber for AI automation initiatives.
• Provide technical oversight for day-to-day AI security operations.
• Translate policy and regulatory expectations into testable requirements.
