Job summary

Southampton Football Club is seeking a Casual Kitchen Porter to support kitchen operations at Staplewood Campus and St Mary's Stadium during match days. You will help maintain hygiene, assist with stock checks and food storage, and work with the catering team to provide a high standard of service.

The role requires weekend work and own transport is preferred due to limited public transport near Staplewood. Competitive hourly rate and flexible hours are offered in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Reliable with flexibility for working hours.
• Good understanding of safety regulations.
• A good level of fitness and stamina.
• A full driving licence and your own transport is preferred due to the limited public transport.

Responsibilities

• Maintain highest hygiene standards in catering areas and service areas.
• Clean, wash, dry and polish kitchen equipment by hand or machine.
• Check stock against delivery orders and minimise waste.
• Decant food items and store to prevent cross-contamination and follow health and safety rules.
• Replenish cleaning bottles and chemicals while ensuring safe storage.
• Provide polite, helpful customer service and support the wider catering team.
