Job summary

Oak View Group (OVG) is hiring a Kitchen Porter to support the Stoke City Football Club catering operation across hospitality suites, kitchens, kiosks and outlets at the bet365 Stadium. This casual, matchday role offers flexible shifts around home games and events.

You will work with chefs and catering teams to maintain cleanliness, handle dishwashing, and assist with stock and waste management while upholding high hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter, Kitchen Assistant or in catering is desirable but not essential.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to support the wider kitchen team.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of cleanliness, food hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Reliable, positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, matchdays and stadium events.

Responsibilities

• Supporting chefs and catering teams with the smooth running of kitchen operations.
• Washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Assisting with stock deliveries and storage of food and supplies.
• Removing waste and ensuring recycling and disposal procedures are followed correctly.
• Contributing to a positive and efficient team environment on matchdays and events.
