Liverpool FC is seeking a Development Chef at Anfield Stadium to drive culinary innovation, lead menu development and deliver compelling food concepts across venues and retail.

You will translate trends into actionable recipes, write clear instructions for teams, and present tastings to key stakeholders while collaborating with the Executive Head Chef and hospitality teams to ensure top-quality experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven current experience as a professional chef.
• Ability to create and deliver innovative recipes.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and trends.
• Proficient with PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and manage teams.
• Knowledge of allergen requirements (Natasha’s Law).
• Ability to work evenings for events.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative menu ideas and product ranges.
• Research culinary trends and translate insights into menus.
• Present findings, run tastings and deliver product showcases for stakeholders.
• Create new concepts for club catering and exclusive foods.
• Write clear recipes to guide teams across food categories.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Executive Head Chef.
• Ensure products align with club goals and operational requirements.
• Support menu development for matchdays, day-to-day catering and retail.
• Recruit kitchen staff and conduct annual performance reviews.
• Lead events and coordinate with hospitality teams for excellent service.
• Audit suppliers and manage pricing discussions.
