Job summary

Liverpool FC is seeking a Development Chef to lead innovation in our Central Production kitchen at Anfield Stadium. You will develop menus, write precise recipes, and translate culinary trends into new products while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet club goals and budget targets.

The role offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth, training, and involvement in matchday and retail food development. Based at Anfield Stadium, 35 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Proven current experience as a professional chef in a busy stadium or sports environment.
• Ability to create high-quality, innovative recipes across food categories.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and current food trends.
• Excellent organisation and communication; cross-functional collaboration.
• Up-to-date knowledge of food safety legislation, including allergen requirements and Natasha's Law.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative menu ideas, food concepts and product ranges.
• Research culinary trends and translate insights into menus and products.
• Present tastings and deliver product showcases for key stakeholders.
• Create new and exclusive food concepts that support the club's catering offer.
• Write clear, consistent recipes for use across teams.
• Lead recruitment and manage the kitchen brigade; conduct performance reviews.
• Support menu development for matchdays, day-to-day catering and retail products.
• Review quality and pricing of suppliers and audit them annually.
