Job summary

Liverpool FC is seeking a Development Chef to join our Central Production kitchen at Anfield Stadium. You will drive culinary creativity, develop new product concepts, and present tastings to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with club goals and operational needs.

You will work closely with the Executive Head Chef and Retail Catering teams, crafting high‑quality recipes and supporting recruitment and training within the kitchen brigade as part of a collaborative, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Proven professional chef with experience in busy environments (stadium/sports preferred).
• Ability to create and deliver high‑quality, innovative recipes across multiple categories.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavour profiles and current trends.
• Proficient in creating engaging presentations for stakeholders using PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative menu ideas, food concepts and product ranges.
• Research culinary trends and translate insights into new menus and products.
• Present findings, run tastings and deliver product showcases for stakeholders.
• Write recipes that can be followed across teams and categories.
• Work with the Executive Head Chef and Retail Catering teams.
• Ensure products align with club goals, customer expectations and operations.
• Support menu development for matchdays, catering and retail products.
• Assist recruitment and performance reviews for kitchen staff.
