Wolverhampton Racecourse and Conference Centre is seeking a Casual Stable Staff member to assist with maintenance, preparation and presentation of racecourse stables. You will clean stables to a high standard and ensure readiness for race meetings.

The role is hands‑on, with training provided and hours revolving around race meetings, including evenings and weekends. The position requires reliability, practicality, and a willingness to follow instructions.

Qualifikationen

• Reliable, practical and motivated individual.
• Willing to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Full training and support provided; previous experience is desirable but not essential.

Aufgaben

• Take full responsibility for the Stables (up to 102) and associated areas.
• Maintain correct documentation and registers.
• Maintain the Stables ground and surrounding area; keep the Stables office tidy.
• Monitor CCTV and liaise with the Clerk of the Course/Estates Manager for supplies.
• Ensure the Sample Unit is secure and samples handed to the agent on collection.
• Carry out high-standard stable cleaning per BHA and ARC guidelines.
• Assist with maintenance programmes for the course, outdoors in varying weather.
• Support other Estate duties as needed.
• Follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
