Job summary

Wolverhampton Racecourse and Holiday Inn is recruiting a Casual Food & Beverage Team Member to join our busy hospitality team. You will help deliver friendly, efficient service across the hotel bar and dining areas during racedays, concerts and functions.

This role offers flexible hours with training and opportunities to gain experience in a fast-paced environment. You will handle orders at tills, serve beverages, maintain cleanliness, and support stock rotation while complying with licensing,

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional appearance and attitude.
• Experience handling cash and card payments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Good numerical and literacy skills.
• Flexible and reliable with schedule.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
• Check guests into the breakfast service.
• Advise guests on available products and promotions.
• Set up, clean and maintain bars, tables and service areas.
• Take and process food and drink orders using tills/POS.
• Serve beverages including wines and spirits according to licensing laws.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all areas per Health & Safety and COSHH.
• Support stock rotation, waste recording and basic cleaning duties.
• Handle cash and card payments securely and accurately.
