Job summary

Moderna is expanding its Harwell manufacturing facility to support onshore mRNA vaccine production in the UK. The role focuses on ensuring quality, integrity, and stability of materials and products, combining hands-on analytical chemistry with GMP stability programs and data analysis.

You will work with advanced analytical techniques (HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV, DLS, KF) and LabVantage LIMS, while collaborating across QC, QA, and manufacturing to deliver timely results in a regulated, science-driven

Qualifications

• BA/BSc in Chemistry or other relevant scientific discipline.
• 5–7 years in Quality Control Laboratory of a Pharmaceutical Company.
• Familiarity with GMP/GxP regulations (GMP/GLP/GCP/GVP).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cGMP QC testing for materials, in-process materials, drug substance, product release and stability programs.
• Apply HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV, DLS, KF analyses to generate robust results.
• Support GMP stability studies and sample lifecycle management.
• Coordinate sample labelling, inventory, and data handling in LIMS and related logs.
• Assist with stability protocol development and regulatory documentation.
• Maintain data integrity and assist in troubleshooting analytical issues.
