Derivia Intelligence is a leading provider of specialist data and insights to the global financial services industry. The SSA Reporter role focuses on GlobalCapital’s public sector bond market, delivering timely data, analyses and features to support the publication’s reputation.

You will build sources, contribute to stories and ensure accurate data is integrated with the data team while representing the business at GC and industry events.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and experience covering primary bond markets.
• Ability to build trusted sources and relationships.
• Proven ability to lead from the front in coverage.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Comfortable working with numbers and data.
• Ability to represent the business at GC and industry events.
• Ability to work under own direction.
• Willingness to travel abroad and work outside regular hours.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to GlobalCapital’s SSA market coverage with deals, trends and news.
• Know the market and key players to maintain GlobalCapital’s reputation.
• Contribute opinions, longer features and analysis; appear on podcasts.
• Collate accurate data for GlobalCapital’s data offering with the data team.
• Be a voice for the SSA market within the newsroom and pitch stories.
• Write with accuracy in house style and meet deadlines.
• Build relationships with key SSA market players for diverse sources.
• Represent the newspaper at industry events and enhance reputation.
• Support SSA Editor to keep news and data sections updated and emails refreshed.
• Cover other sections as needed
