Job summary

Cognitive Credit seeks a Market Data Analyst to improve bond and loan pricing data integrity. You will work with product and engineering teams to validate data, build automated checks, and identify pricing outliers in large datasets.

The role requires IPV/pricing experience, strong Excel/Sheets skills, and a keen eye for data quality. Remote-friendly, London-based parent company with global clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in evaluated pricing, IPV, or credit fund valuations.
• Strong familiarity with bond and loan reference data syntax and pricing feeds.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets with macros/scripts.
• Ability to work through large datasets to identify pricing outliers.

Responsibilities

• Review pricing feeds against internal benchmarks and investigate anomalies.
• Identify, prioritize, and resolve pricing outliers in large bond/loan datasets.
• Calculate and validate bond/loan pricing data at scale.
• Trace capital structures and relationships to ensure data integrity.
• Build automated algorithms to reduce manual checks and document issues.
• Engage with clients to answer questions about data and product functionality.
