Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a proactive Offering Manager in Farnborough to drive the development lifecycle of new offerings. You will coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Legal, Security, and Ops to ensure go-to-market readiness, governance compliance, and timely delivery.

Applicants should have a strong background in project coordination, cross-functional collaboration, and lifecycle management. A relevant bachelor's degree is preferred, with PM/agile certifications viewed positively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Certifications in project management, agile methodologies, or product/offering management are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluation, refinement, and development of new offering ideas through concept and planning phases.
• Facilitate idea nurturing workshops and stakeholder discussions to assess viability and market opportunity.
• Collaborate with Offering Managers to align development activities with strategic goals and customer requirements.
• Ensure adherence to offering development processes, governance frameworks, and stage-gate requirements.
• Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and key deliverables across the offering lifecycle.
• Support risk identification and mitigation in partnership with Offering Managers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate engagement across Sales, Marketing, Legal, Security, Operations and other functions for launch readiness.
• Partner with Sales to support go-to-market readiness and enablement.
• Collaborate with Marketing on launch planning, messaging, and promotion alignment.
• Maintain documentation of decisions, governance approvals, and progress updates.
• Provide regular status reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support QA and consistency across offering initiatives.
• Establish feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement.
• Enable offering teams with tools and governance support for informed decisions.
• Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across teams.
• Support post-launch handoff to operations and drive ongoing enhancements.

Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Support the evaluation, refinement, and development of new offering ideas through the concept and planning phases.

Governance & Lifecycle Management

• Ensure adherence to offering development processes, governance frameworks, and stage-gate requirements.
• Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and key deliverables across the offering lifecycle.
• Support risk identification and mitigation planning in partnership with Offering Managers and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, security, and operational requirements throughout development.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate engagement across Sales, Marketing, Legal, Security, Operations, and other business functions to support successful offering development and launch readiness.
• Partner with Sales teams to support go-to-market readiness and enablement activities.
• Collaborate with Marketing teams on launch planning, messaging, and promotional alignment.
• Facilitate effective communication and issue resolution between cross-functional teams.

Reporting, Documentation & Quality Assurance

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of decisions, governance approvals, project updates, and development activities.
• Provide regular status reporting to leadership and stakeholders on progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Support quality assurance and consistency across offering development initiatives.
• Establish feedback mechanisms to drive continuous improvement throughout the lifecycle.
• Enable offering teams with the tools, information, and governance support required to make informed decisions.
• Promote knowledge sharing, best practices, and process consistency across teams.
• Support post-launch transition activities to operational teams and help drive ongoing offering enhancements based on feedback and performance insights.

Skills & Experience

• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working across cross-functional business environments.
• Understanding of offering, product, or service development lifecycles.
• Strong governance, reporting, and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
• Experience supporting go-to-market, transformation, or operational initiatives is advantageous.
