Sr. Enterprise Account Executive UK

Key Verticals: Mid commercial enterprise experience; Retail, TnL, Manufacturing, and the wider commercial private sectors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and deliver mid-term pipeline and close ‘won’ business according to targets.
  2. Build business plans and marketing activity plans with regional channel partners to achieve revenue targets.
  3. Coordinate contract negotiations between Extreme Networks and partners if needed.
  4. Support partner’s sales planning and sales activities.
  5. Understand and communicate Extreme service model to ensure smooth after-sales processes and customer/partner satisfaction in the long term.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Successful apprenticeship or university degree in an economic/business-related topic.
  2. 5-10 years of sales experience in the network infrastructure arena.
  3. Demonstrated success with a track record of consistent sales while developing and maintaining large territories.
  4. Strong background in developing new customer acquisition, including cold calling, within a “green” field territory, as well as maintaining longer-term accounts.
  5. Ability to speak intelligently about OpenStack, SDN, Virtualization, Security, Orchestration, Server/Storage considerations, which will be a large part of customer and partner interactions.
  6. Exceptional influencing skills, ability to communicate at all levels, and exude a positive attitude and high energy to achieve maximum results.
  7. Proven ability to produce high-quality results independently, with high self-motivation, in regions with limited local support infrastructure. Good organization skills and time management are beneficial.
  8. Experience in establishing a remote sales site in a home office mode is desired.
  9. An entrepreneurial candidate confident and enthusiastic about winning partner trust, capable of thinking creatively and selling through market leadership.
  10. Strong skill set in transmitting advanced technology differentiators into channel partner and customer benefits aligned with their business model and demands, using Solution Selling techniques.
