Job summary

Amazon Uk Services Ltd. - A10 in London, England is seeking a Sr. Capacity Planning Analyst to own end-to-end capacity planning for TAP. You will translate data into executable plans, monitor KPIs, and drive improvements in driver utilization and loaded drive time.

You will lead weekly planning cycles, build dashboards with BI partners, and collaborate with site and operations teams to ensure timely, accurate planning. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience as an operations analyst, data analyst or in a similar role.
• Experience working with operations and business teams to communicate problem impacts and understand business requirements.
• Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders.
• Experience in Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau

Responsibilities

• Monitor planning metrics, compare actuals against plans (Daily/Weekly/Monthly), identify gaps, conduct in-depth analysis, and collaborate with stakeholders to address them.
• Address daily capacity challenges and serve as the primary point of contact for planning with site and operations teams.
• Take ownership of end-to-end long-term improvement initiatives, focusing on KPIs such as planned driver utilization% and LH loaded drive time.
• Lead weekly capacity planning cycles, incorporate stakeholders' requests, and ensure efficient planning.
• Educate stakeholders on capacity planning topics and promote a self-service approach.
• Collaborate with BI partners to request and develop dashboards and tools for S&OP execution.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
• Experience as an operations analyst, data analyst or in a similar role
• Experience working with operations and business teams to communicate problem impacts and understand business requirements
• Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
• Experience in Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working in supply chain, transportation, project management or management consulting
• Experience with reporting and Data Visualization tools such as Quick Sight / Tableau / Power BI or other BI packages
• Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement
• Experience working with stakeholders, or experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
• Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
• Experience leading projects across multiple stakeholders
