Job summary

Amida Solution in London seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead fire protection system installations on major contracts. You will coordinate site surveys, procurement, client liaison and cost control, reporting to the Operations Manager and Director to keep projects on time and within budget.

The role requires at least ten years’ experience in commercial sprinkler projects, CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS, and a hands-on, reliable attitude with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience as Project Manager of commercial sprinkler installations.
• CSCS card is essential.
• Strong procurement and cost control capabilities.
• Background in commercial sprinkler contracts, wet riser and dry riser systems.
• Proficient with MS Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and manage labour, equipment and fabrication procurement.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and site managers/supervisors.
• Own cost control of contracts and projects with Operations Manager/Director.
• Maintain installation progress records and monitor against the program.
• Keep up-to-date site records and safety documentation.
• Ensure site compliance with method statements and risk assessments.
• Assist with testing and commissioning.

As part of the main contracts team, you will Project Manage a selection on fire protection systems projects based in London

Please consider this role if you are currently a Project Manager, Project Engineer, Contract Manager or Contracts Manager

Responsibilities

• Site surveys


• Procurement of labour, equipment and fabrication


• Liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers and site managers/supervisors


• In partnership with your Operations Manager and Director, be responsible for cost control of contracts/projects


• Keep records of installation progress and monitor against program of rewards


• Keep up to date site records, including diary of all site operatives working on your projects


• Maintain compliance on site with issued and approved method statements and risk assessments


• Assist with testing and commissioning

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years' experience as Project Manager of commercial sprinkler installations

CSCS card

Strong procurement and cost control skills

Background in commercial sprinkler contracts, wet riser systems and dry riser systems

Strong understanding of Microsoft Office and similar project management software

Understanding of Sprinkler related standards BS EN12845, LPC Rules & BS9990

LPCB Design qualification(s)

SSSTS or SMSTS

A can-do hands-on attitude

Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly approach
