Qualifications

• Experience prepping, masking, sealing and painting metal products in manufacturing.
• Experience painting transformers is advantageous.
• FLT license or overhead crane licenses desirable.

Responsibilities

• Mask, prepare, seal and paint transformers and various metal products within paint spray booths, wearing PPE.
• Fit the warranty tags.
• Ensure all products are painted to the correct specification.
• Manage your own time to complete tasks to plan.
• Identify and resolve inadequate or unclear manufacturing information with others.
• Ensure quality standards and factory housekeeping are of the highest standard.
• Ensure all required documentation is completed correctly and on time

The role

• You will mask, prepare, seal and paint transformers and various metal products within our paint spray booths wearing the appropriate PPE
• You will fit the warranty tags
• Ensure all products are painted to the correct specification
• Managing your own time to ensure tasks are completed to plan
• Identify and work with others to resolve inadequate or unclear manufacturing information.
• Ensure quality standards and factory housekeeping is of the highest standard.
• Ensure all required documentation is completed correctly and on time

About You

• Demonstrable experience of prepping/spaying/painting metal products in a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Experience of painting transformers would be a distinct advantage
• Experience of using a pressure pot and compressor system desirable.
• Experience of working collaboratively in a production environment with other operations personnel is essential
• FLT licence desirable
• Overhead Crane licence desirable
