Job summary

Alliance Personnel is hiring a Spot Welder for a manufacturing client based in CV37, Stratford-upon-Avon area. You will operate spot welding equipment, follow blueprints, and ensure weld quality to meet specifications.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-1pm. This Temp to Perm role requires good mechanical aptitude and commitment to safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience with spot welding processes and metal fabrication preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate spot welding equipment to join sheet metal according to specifications.
• Set up and adjust welding machines for optimal weld quality.
• Inspect welds for strength, consistency and adherence to safety standards.
• Prepare materials using hand and power tools prior to welding.
• Follow work instructions and blueprints to assemble components accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure equipment is maintained.
• Collaborate with team to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report malfunctions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing precise spot welding operations to assemble metal components efficiently and accurately. This role is essential in ensuring the structural integrity and quality of fabricated products. Candidates with a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience in welding processes will thrive in this position.

Responsibilities

• Operate spot welding equipment to join sheet metal and fabricated parts according to specifications
• Set up and adjust welding machines to ensure optimal performance and weld quality
• Inspect completed welds for consistency, strength, and adherence to safety standards
• Use hand tools and power tools for preparing materials prior to welding
• Follow detailed work instructions and blueprints to assemble components accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring equipment is properly maintained
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and quality standards
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report any malfunctions promptly
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment
