Job summary

Lawn Manor Academy is looking to recruit a Sports Mentor to support pupils' emotional well‑being, behaviour and personal development. The role focuses on building confidence, resilience, teamwork and positive attitudes towards teaching.

The post is a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027, part‑time 30 hours per week over a 39‑week year, with term‑time pay and a starting salary within the NJC Grade F scale (actual salary outlined) and includes the chance to contribute to a supportive student

Salary: NJC Grade F £27,254-£28,598 FTE ( depending on experience)
Actual Salary: £16,914.90-£19,944.43
Contract: Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2027

Working weeks; 39 Weeks

Paid Weeks: 44.85

Hours Per Week: 30 hours

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 09.00-15.30 ( 30 min unpaid break)
