Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment in Chesterfield is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join secondary schools as Cover Supervisors from September. Roles are available as full-time or part-time to suit your schedule, with opportunities to work across a range of Chesterfield secondary schools.

If you have a strong sporting background, you could deliver pre-set work, manage behaviour, and inspire students both in and out of the classroom, with potential PE or extracurricular activity support.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising classes or groups of students.
• Experience in education or youth settings preferred.
• Background in sports or coaching is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
• Deliver pre-set work and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Act as a positive role model – promoting teamwork, discipline and resilience.
• Potential to support with PE lessons or extracurricular sports activities.
