Protocol Education Limited is seeking a confident Sports Coach or PE graduate to work as a SEND Teaching Assistant in North Shields. You will support pupils with autism, ADHD and SEMH, using coaching skills to foster engagement and social development throughout the school day.

The role is full-time, term-time only, with safeguarding checks required, and is suitable for coaches, graduates, or youth workers looking to transition into education.

Qualifications

Sports Coach to SEND Teaching Assistant - North Shields

Protocol Education is working with a specialist SEND school in North Shields seeking confident and energetic individuals to support pupils with Autism, ADHD and SEMH needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your coaching experience to positively impact young people's lives while gaining valuable experience within education.

Location: North Shields
Contract: Full-Time | Term-Time Only

About the Role

Many pupils respond well to positive role models who can build strong relationships, encourage participation and help them develop confidence. Your ability to motivate, inspire and engage young people will be invaluable in this position.

You will support learning across the school day while helping pupils develop social skills, emotional resilience and positive behaviour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
