Job summary

Protocol Education are recruiting for a Sports Coach / Teaching Assistant to work within a Sunderland school supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs. You will use sport, physical activity and positive relationships to help pupils re-engage with education and develop confidence.

This full-time role runs during term time, with school hours and a daily rate of £98–£120 depending on experience. A background in sports coaching or youth work is ideal, with DBS and right to work in the UK

• Experience working with young people is desirable
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one
• Right to work in the UK
• References covering relevant experience

The Role

You will use sport, physical activity and positive relationships to encourage pupils to engage with school and develop their confidence.
