Job summary

Norwich City Community Sports Foundation is seeking a Community Coach to plan and deliver weekend coaching across our programmes, including Football Skill Centres, Mini Kickers and party activities. You will create engaging sessions that meet participant needs while upholding our DNA, values and safeguarding standards.

You will work with a friendly team under the Operations Manager, coordinating with partners to ensure safe, fun and inclusive experiences for all ages and abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience of planning and delivering coaching sessions and programmes.
• Experience of coaching in different environments including community-based programme.
• NGB Level 1 Award in coaching or similar.
• Experience of working with young people in a sports environment.
• Ability to manage different groups effectively and safely.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of weekend sessions across our delivery portfolio: Football Skill Centres, Mini Kickers, Football Birthday Parties, Challenge Woods Parties and Match Day Clubs.
• Plan activities based on participant needs and programme requirements.
• Adhere to safeguarding, EDI and health and safety policies.

Job Title: Community Coach

Salary: Session and experience dependant

Role Summary: To plan and deliver outstanding experiences to participants in the Foundation’s various weekend programmes and initiatives, in line with our DNA, values and behaviours.

Objectives:

• To deliver a range of sessions to various participants and groups across our weekend delivery portfolio including; Football Skill Centres, Mini Kickers, Football Birthday Parties, Challenge Woods Parties and Match Day Clubs.
• To plan appropriate activities based on the needs of the specific programme and participants individual needs
• To adhere to the Foundations safeguarding, EDI and health and safety requirements

Knowledge, skills and experience - essential
