Job summary

Norwich City Football Club is seeking a part-time Development Coach to deliver sessions across Cambridgeshire (Northstowe, Linton, Cambourne, Soham) and to work within the Norwich City pathway for players aged 7–16.

You will follow our Development Coaching Curriculum, bring your own style, and contribute to a professional coaching environment that supports progression and pathways. The role includes CPD opportunities and kit provision.

Qualifications

• UEFA C licence (or working towards UEFA B)
• FA Safeguarding & Emergency Aid qualifications (or willingness to complete)
• Coaches who thrive on developing young players and building relationships
• Reliability, professionalism and enthusiasm in every session

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, progressive sessions to players aged 7–16

• Inspire players to develop technically, tactically, physically and mentally
• Maintain strong communication with parents and Centre leads

We’re looking for ambitious, passionate football coaches who want to deliver top-quality sessions, work within a professional structure, and be part of a pathway that has already seen many players progress to academy football.

• Deliver engaging, progressive and challenging sessions to players aged 7–16
• Follow our Norwich City Football Development Coaching Curriculum while bringing your own style and creativity
• Inspire players to develop technically, tactically, physically, and mentally
• Maintain strong communication with parents and Centre leads
• Identify and recommend talented players for progression along the Norwich City pathway

What We’re Looking For:

• UEFA C (or working towards) UEFA B licenced preferred but not essential.
• FA Safeguarding & Emergency Aid qualifications (or willingness to complete)
• A coach who thrives on improving young players and building relationships
• Reliability, professionalism, and enthusiasm in every session
