Job summary

Keele University Sport Centre is recruiting a proactive team member to support its facilities, safety, and customer service. You will perform cleaning, equipment handling, and supervise users to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

With an emphasis on health and safety, you will work toward a First Aid at Work certificate and assist in first aid as needed, ensuring the centre is well presented for staff, students, and the local community.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good awareness of health and safety in a busy sports facility.
• Willingness to work towards First Aid at Work certification.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and keeping the facilities clean and presentable.
• Control of facilities to ensure safe and smooth operation.
• Assembling and dismantling equipment as required.
• Overseeing safety and behaviour of users to prevent injuries and damage.
• Work towards First Aid at Work certificate and assist in first aid when qualified.
• Provide excellent customer service to students, staff and local community.
