Job summary

Bolton Wanderers FC is seeking a Commercial Sales Executive to generate new business through proactive prospecting across local, regional and national markets. You will lead sales of lower-value, repeatable commercial inventory such as match and player sponsorships, business memberships and advertising, while supporting the Commercial Sales Manager on larger opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, business development or commercial partnerships.
• Strong prospecting and lead generation skills.
• Able to meet activity, pipeline and revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high volumes of outbound sales activity by phone, email, LinkedIn and networking.
• Identify and qualify prospective partners, sponsors and advertisers.
• Build and record a strong sales pipeline.
• Present the club’s commercial products and sponsorship packages.
• Prepare tailored proposals, then negotiate and close deals.
• Hand completed sales over to the Commercial Account Manager.
• Attend fixtures, networking events and business forums to generate leads.
