Job summary

Jobtailor in Tonbridge is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Advisor to support our whisky, gin and spirits customers during the peak Christmas season. You will guide product choices, process orders and resolve issues with a friendly, professional approach.

You’ll handle enquiries via email, live chat, social media and telephone, liaising with courier partners and third-party sellers to ensure smooth delivery. Flexible shifts and a teamwork-driven environment are available.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience would be great
• Self-motivated, confident and consumer service focused
• Able to build rapport quickly via phone, email, chat and other channels
• Versatility to work in a team and independently
• Amazing written and verbal communication skills
• Team player able to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment
• Tech savvy and able to pick up new programmes quickly
• Available for flexible shifts including weekends and Bank Holidays
• Available to work over the Christmas holidays and between Christmas and New Year's Eve
• Able to attend the Tonbridge offices minimum twice weekly after initial training
• Must be within reach of Kent
• No holidays scheduled between joining date and the first week of January

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on products and help them choose
• Process customer orders, including payment processing, fraud assessment, customs declarations and logistics
• Liaise with courier and logistics companies to ensure successful delivery
• Resolve post-dispatch delivery issues
• Manage customer enquiries and complaints via email, live chat, social media and telephone
• Handle customers via third-party sellers including Amazon, eBay and Notonthehighstreet.com
• Make consistent decisions regarding discounts and refunds
• Work closely with other departments
• Deliver exceptional customer service during the peak Christmas season
