Job summary

Witherslack Group is hiring a Speech and Language Therapist at Cedar House School in Bentham. You will join a multi-disciplinary clinical team to deliver therapeutic interventions for children with complex SEMH needs within an educational and residential setting.

Applicants must be HCPC registered SLTs, with proven skills to engage and deliver interventions, and be highly organised, collaborative, and committed to improving outcomes for young people.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
• Specialist with proven skills to engage and deliver therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs.
• Experience supporting teams around a child to ensure clinically informed living and learning environments.
• Be a confident, engaging leader and trainer.
• Be highly organised and ready to take the initiative.
• Be committed to ensuring the best outcomes for young people.

Responsibilities

• Support educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments.
• Offer individualised interventions and engagement based on clinical assessment and formulation.
• Collaborate with a 220+ strong multi-disciplinary clinical team to support learning and wellbeing.
