Job summary

Oxford Health in Oxford is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join the Intensive Support Team. You will work with children and adults with learning disabilities and complex behavioural needs, delivering SLT within PBS and Applied Behaviour Analysis frameworks, and manage your own diary within core hours.

The role involves community visits, data analysis, and delivering person-centred support, with driving required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SLT models and practical application.
• Demonstrates ability to plan and evaluate interventions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a complex caseload of children and adults with LDs and challenging behaviour.
• Formulate, implement, and evaluate individualised SLT programmes.
• Provide supervision to junior staff and students.
• Deliver multidisciplinary training for carers and staff.
• Collaborate with Community Learning Disability Teams and CAMHS.
