Job summary

The Witherslack Group is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist based at Cedar House School in Bentham, with opportunities to work at other sites across South Cumbria and North Lancashire. You will join a multi-disciplinary clinical team delivering therapeutic interventions to pupils with SEMH and related needs, supporting education and residential staff to create engaging, clinically informed environments.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
• Experience delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people with complex needs.
• Experience supporting teams around a child to provide clinically informed living and learning environments.
• Be highly organised, proactive and able to lead and train others.

Responsibilities

• Support educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments.
• Based on clinical assessment and formulation, offer individualised interventions and engagement to young people.
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary clinical team across schools and homes in the group.
