Job summary

Witherslack Group is hiring a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join Cedar House School in Bentham, with opportunities to work across South Cumbria and North Lancashire. You will deliver therapeutic interventions for children and young people with SEMH needs, within a multi-disciplinary team and supportive living-learning environments.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
• Specialist with proven skills to engage and deliver interventions for children with complex needs.
• Experience supporting teams around a child to ensure clinically informed living and learning environments.
• Confident, engaging and effective trainer; highly organized and proactive.
• Committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people.

Responsibilities

• Work within a multi-disciplinary clinical team to support educational and residential colleagues.
• Provide individualised therapeutic interventions based on assessment and formulation.
• Contribute to living and learning environments and monitor progress.
• Participate in supervision, clinical development and ongoing learning.
