Job summary

The Witherslack Group is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to work across Cedar House School and regional sites in South Cumbria and North Lancashire. You will deliver clinically informed interventions to children and young people with SEMH needs within a multi-disciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
• Specialist with proven skills to engage and deliver therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs.
• Experience supporting teams around a child to ensure clinically informed living and learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Support educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments.
• Provide interventions based on clinical assessment and formulation.
• Engage and mentor multi-disciplinary colleagues to optimise outcomes for young people.
