Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist based at Cedar House School with opportunities to work across sites in South Cumbria and North Lancashire. You will join a multi-disciplinary clinical team supporting children with SEMH and related needs, delivering tailored interventions and collaborating with education and residential staff.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
• Be a specialist with proven skills and experience to engage and deliver therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs.
• Experience of supporting teams around a child to ensure clinically informed living and learning environments and experiences.
• Be a confident, engaging and effective, model, guide, leader and trainer.

Responsibilities

• Support educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments.
• Based on clinical assessment and formulation, offer individualised interventions and engagement to our young people.
