Liaise East Anglia is seeking a compassionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our Specialist Support Team in the UK. You will manage a caseload of adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, delivering person-centred, evidence-based interventions to improve communication and swallowing.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will train staff, use AAC and Makaton, maintain accurate records and contribute to service development.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registration.
• RCSLT membership.
• Experience with adults with learning disabilities or autism.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Manage own caseload of adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.
• Assess, diagnose and treat communication and swallowing difficulties.
• Develop therapy plans and communication profiles.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs.
• Train and coach teams to implement communication strategies and dysphagia practices.
• Promote AAC, Makaton and other communication methods.
• Maintain clinical records and outcomes.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement.
