Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting graduates to support pupils with speech, language and communication needs across primary and specialist SEND schools in South Manchester and Stockport. This role offers valuable experience for those considering Speech & Language Therapy, Educational Psychology, or SEND education.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups delivering activities, encouraging communication, and helping pupils develop confidence and independence throughout the school day.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Speech & Language Therapy or related subject.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Patient, compassionate and enthusiastic approach.
  • Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

Aspire People are working with primary and specialist SEND schools across South Manchester and Stockport to recruit enthusiastic graduates to support pupils with speech, language and communication needs.

This role is ideal for graduates considering a future career in Speech & Language Therapy, Educational Psychology or SEND education.

The Role

The Ideal Candidate
  • Degree in Speech & Language Therapy or a related subject.
  • Passion for supporting children with additional needs.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Patient, compassionate and enthusiastic approach.
  • Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
