Job summary

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing Limited is seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to support children and young people with a range of communication needs in Dorset. You will assess and deliver tailored therapy to boost speech, language, and swallowing skills, working closely with teachers, families and other professionals.

HCPC registered SLTs with a degree in Speech and Language Therapy and the right to work in the UK are invited to apply for flexible daytime hours, with weekly PAYE

Qualifications

  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Experience supporting students with SEN/SLCN/SEMH.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out speech, language, and swallowing assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualised therapy programmes.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve communication skills.
  • Provide guidance and training to families, carers, and staff.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, clinicians, and other professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation.

About the Role:

We’relooking for a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist (SLT)to support children and young people with a range of communication needs.

You will work with learners experiencing Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, and medical conditions, delivering tailored therapy to help them achieve their full potential.
