Job summary

Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Speech and Language Therapist to join the Northumberland footprint within the 0-19 service. The post supports families and promotes child health, wellbeing and school readiness through evidence-based language assessments and interventions.

You will develop and deliver training, contribute to the School Readiness Pathway, and work with health visitors, practitioners and partners to narrow the word gap and support early language

Qualifications

• Graduate with recognised qualification in speech and language therapy.
• Membership of HCPC.
• Registered Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.

Responsibilities

• Support Speech and Language Services to children in the Northumberland footprint of Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust.
• Develop training and pathways to promote evidence-based practices within the service.
• Deliver training to the Northumberland Healthy Child team and partner agencies.
• Promote best practice interventions to support early language development.
• Collaborate with 0-19 service and multi-agency partners to develop family hub innovations.

Education

Graduate with recognised qualification in speech and language therapy
